The LQ Foundation was created in memory of Laquitta Jenkins Butler. She never really had a whole lot in life but the little she did have if somebody was in need, she would try her best to try to help them, or find someone who could. One of her favorite sayings was “Love is what love does”. As you will see, when you read the history and explore our page, that our Mother and her children went through many trials and tribulations and one thing that we learned was love for ourselves and how to love one another.
That’s why with our mission and vision in mind we want to show families and individuals that we Love them no matter what they are going through and we will do our best to help with the need they have in their life, if we can’t personally do it, we will try to find a direction to lead them in.
Therefore, we look forward to forming partnerships with different community outreach programs in our area and working together with them. We all know it takes a village So please feel free to join us we have plenty of volunteer opportunities and we also welcome your financial support as well.
