Our Mission
The LQ Foundation is a legacy driven mission for the purpose of serving a community of women, children and families in the need of social service connections and counsel with a focus on mental health and substance abuse. This will provide them a positive and productive tract that gives them action steps for their life circumstances.
*This mission is to assist those whose lives are in transition due to situations beyond their control. The desire is to provide emergency assistance and counsel on making positive life style choices that will produce positive results.
Our Vision
To provide and secure and safe environment for empowered living and lifestyle choices. This vision has several components and addresses the current socio-economic concerns of the community.
Educational Scholarships
- We will provide scholarships for the purpose of furthering education
- We will identify these individuals through an application process
- All applicants will be in review and interview process to determine who will best fit the criteria
Families in Need Sponsorship
- This is designed as a fundraising event to for the purpose of raising funds to sponsor a family in need.
- To be done in the fourth quarter for holiday disbursement.
LifeStyle Assessment, Training and Coaching
- LifeStyle assessments training and coaching, allows us to target the specific needs of the individual. From the assessment, a plan of action is developed to help guide the individual on their path to success.
Emergency Assistance
Emergency Assistance will be assessed according to and by the interview process to determine how to best serve the community.
We will forge partnerships with agencies for referral and specific function to best serve the community as a whole.
We will pursue grants which will allow us to provide outright financial assistance for the purpose, of housing, medical, food and utilities and childcare expenses in the form of voucher-related disbursement.
